Research & Awards

Clinical research is an essential part of patient care, as it forms the foundation of treatment decisions. Dr. Boyle has produced a large volume of clinical research, and is currently undertaking studies investigating a number of aspects of hip preservation surgery, rotator cuff repair surgery, trauma surgery and shoulder instability surgery.

(The most prestigious travelling orthopaedic fellowship in the world, which involves visiting and teaching at distinguished hospitals and universities throughout the United States of America and Canada over a five-week period). Fellowship scheduled for May/June 2020 (fellowship postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
